The International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services (IFES) and the Exhibition and Event Association of Southern Africa (EXSA) have formalized a strategic partnership through a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to enhance knowledge exchange, professional development, and visibility for their respective members within the global exhibition community.

The MoU was signed by IFES President Jรถrg ZeiรŸig and EXSA Chair Sibusiso Mncwabe, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening the exhibition value chain through closer alignment of expertise. Members of both organizations will benefit from joint educational initiatives, participation in each other’s industry events, and access to shared insights and best practices.

“Collaboration is the foundation of progress,” said ZeiรŸig. “By formalizing our cooperation with EXSA, we are strengthening regional representation in Southern Africa, gaining new perspectives, and creating new opportunities for our members to engage and grow within the global exhibition community.”

This partnership underscores the vital role that Southern Africa plays as a hub for regional cooperation and a gateway to wider African markets. The exhibition and business events sectors in the region contribute significantly to tourism, infrastructure development, and international connectivity.
