Kuoni Tumlare announced a strategic partnership with WorldTravellers (WT) in December 2025, formally expanding its Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) footprint across Southeast Asia. Revealed in mid-January 2026, the affiliation marked a significant step in Kuoni Tumlare’s regional growth strategy, combining its global destination management expertise with WorldTravellers’ deep local knowledge of the Malaysian market.
As a globally recognised destination management company, Kuoni Tumlare has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality meetings, incentives and large-scale events across international markets. The partnership with WorldTravellers enabled the company to further strengthen its presence in Malaysia, a destination that continues to gain traction as a preferred hub for corporate events and incentive travel in Asia.
WorldTravellers DMC Sdn Bhd, established in 1992, brought more than three decades of experience in handling corporate and MICE programmes. Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur with branch offices in Cheras, Klang and Penang, the company operated with a team of over 140 professionals and was widely regarded as one of Malaysia’s most established DMCs. Its comprehensive service portfolio covered incentive travel, conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners and team-building programmes, supported by strong operational capabilities across the country.
A key strength of WorldTravellers lay in its expertise in designing inclusive travel experiences, including specialised programmes for Muslim travellers with halal dining options, Islamic-friendly hotels and prayer facilities. This capability aligned closely with the evolving needs of international MICE clients seeking culturally sensitive and customised event solutions.
Through the partnership, Kuoni Tumlare enhanced its ability to offer clients seamless, end-to-end MICE solutions across Malaysia’s leading destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Melaka, Sabah and Sarawak. The collaboration underscored Malaysia’s growing appeal as a MICE destination, supported by world-class infrastructure, strong air connectivity and rich cultural diversity.
The alliance reflected Kuoni Tumlare’s continued commitment to expanding its Asian MICE network while delivering innovative, locally driven experiences to global clients.
