A landmark exhibition showcasing the entire spectrum of India’s healthcare, pharmaceutical, and life sciences ecosystem was inaugurated at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal.

The mega showcase brings together five major events under one roof for the first time—iPhex 2025, Pharma MachTech Expo 2025, Labnext Expo 2025, India Med Tech Expo 2025, and Bharat Nutraverse 2025. Organized jointly by leading export and trade promotion bodies including EEPC India, Pharmexcil, Shefexcil, and EPCMD under the Department of Commerce, the exhibition represents a unified platform highlighting India’s healthcare and pharmaceutical value chain.

The event is witnessing participation from over 1,500 domestic exporters, more than 1,000 international buyers, and several high-level trade delegations. During his visit, Shri Goyal toured the pavilions, interacted with exhibitors, and addressed a roundtable of CEOs and industry leaders. He also explored innovations at the Pharma MachTech and LabNext pavilions, emphasizing India’s commitment to advancing global healthcare.

Pharma MachTech Expo 2025 and Labnext Expo 2025, curated by EEPC India, serve as a hub for B2B meetings, networking, and strategic partnerships, positioning India at the forefront of pharma machinery and lab technology innovation. While Pharma MachTech spotlights pharmaceutical machinery, clean-room technology, automation, and packaging solutions, LabNext emphasizes diagnostics, biotech tools, analytical instruments, and lab automation.

Mr. Pankaj Chadha, Chairman of EEPC India, highlighted that the dual expos are set to unlock new business and investment opportunities across the rapidly expanding healthcare sector. Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Aakash Shah, Vice Chairman of EEPC India, noted that the shows will accelerate sectoral growth by fostering partnerships and collaborations across the value chain.

India remains a global leader in pharmaceuticals, ranking third worldwide by volume and fourteenth by value, with exports to over 200 countries. Known as the “Pharmacy of the World”, the nation continues to strengthen its global presence through cost-effective generics and a robust Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) base.

The global pharma machinery market, projected to reach $27 billion by 2030 at a CAGR of 6.8%, presents significant opportunities for India. With around 800 machinery manufacturing units producing equipment worth Rs 1,800 crore annually, India contributes substantially to international demand, exporting to over 100 countries.

As the sector evolves, Indian manufacturers are innovating to meet stringent validation standards and advanced global market requirements, reinforcing the country’s stature as a vital hub for healthcare and pharma technology.
