Eventbase, a global leader in live event technology, has announced a strategic partnership with George P. Johnson Experience Marketing (GPJ), one of the world’s leading experience marketing agencies. Under this collaboration, GPJ becomes the first certified agency partner for Eventbase’s latest technologies – Activate and MagicBadge™ – marking a significant step in redefining digital engagement for live events.
The partnership builds on more than a decade of collaboration between the two companies, during which they have created innovative mobile experiences for prominent global events such as Salesforce Dreamforce, Adobe MAX, Workday Rising, and Cisco Live. With this renewed alliance, Eventbase and GPJ aim to deploy the new technologies across a broader range of international live events, enhancing attendee interactivity and connection.
Activate is an engagement platform designed to deliver personalized and data-driven experiences, allowing event organizers to connect more effectively with participants. MagicBadge™, meanwhile, transforms traditional event networking through an app-based smart badge that enables instant digital introductions and content sharing. Attendees can exchange contact information or trigger personalized digital content simply by tapping phones eliminating the need for physical cards or QR scans.
The new technology will be showcased on November 12, 2025, during Event Tech Live London, where GPJ and Eventbase will host an exclusive VIP experience titled “Find Your Flock.” This interactive networking session will demonstrate the real-time capabilities of MagicBadge™ in creating more meaningful and seamless attendee connections.
Additionally, all participants at Event Tech Live London will have access to MagicBadge™ through the official event app powered by Eventbase. Visitors can also explore the technology in action at the Eventbase booth (D34), featuring live demonstrations of how Activate and MagicBadge™ elevate event engagement through personalized digital experiences.
This collaboration highlights the next phase of innovation in event technology, emphasizing smarter, data-driven, and more connected experiences for the global events community.
