Mumbai will become a key center for international trade dialogue as the World Trade Centre Mumbai and the All-India Association of Industries (AIAI) prepare to host the 10th Global Economic Summit (GES) and the 6th World Trade Expo, held concurrently with the WTCA Asia Pacific Conference on November 21โ€“22, 2025, at the Expo Centre, World Trade Centre Mumbai, Cuffe Parade.

Among the invited guests of honour are Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar and Maharashtra Industries Minister Uday Samant, along with senior officials from central and state governments and representatives from foreign governments. The summit is also expected to be attended by ambassadors, consuls, and business delegates from several countries.

Supported by the Ministry of External Affairs, the Ministry of MSME, the Government of Maharashtra, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), the event will bring together participants from over 85 World Trade Centres, more than 600 Indian delegates, 150 international business leaders, and 80 subject matter experts representing regions across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Held alongside the World Trade Expo, the summit will include country pavilions and exhibitions showcasing trade and business opportunities from different nations. The WTCA Asia Pacific Conference is expected to host participants from nearly 100 countries, facilitating discussions on regional trade and economic cooperation.

The central theme of the summit, โ€œAccelerating Global Trade: Fostering Partnerships, Connectivity and Resilience,โ€ reflects the growing role of the Asia-Pacific region in global commerce, technological advancement, and sustainable economic development.

Across two days, the programme will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, sector-focused sessions, B2B meetings, and trade exhibitions. At a time of significant shifts in the global trade environment, the summit aims to provide a constructive platform for policymakers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to examine emerging challenges and explore pathways for strengthening global trade resilience.
