Marriott International has partnered with Vardhman Amrante, a real estate venture of the Oswal Group, to introduce the first-ever Westin Hotels & Resorts property in Ludhiana, Punjab. This collaboration marks Marriott’s debut of the Westin brand in the state and its second hotel in the city, showcasing confidence in Ludhiana’s growing potential as a hospitality and business destination.

The project includes a 200-key five-star hotel, which will be a part of a seven-acre mixed-use development. Construction is expected to begin next year, with the hotel targeted to open in the last quarter of 2030. The estimated investment for the project is ₹260 crore, making it one of the largest hospitality investments in Ludhiana.

The larger development will feature around 17 lakh square feet of built-up space, including retail zones, a multiplex, a gaming zone, and other lifestyle offerings—with the Westin hotel serving as the central highlight.

Adish Oswal, Chairman of Oswal Group, referred to the collaboration as a major milestone in their vision to redefine luxury and wellness hospitality in the region. He highlighted Ludhiana’s rise as a commercial and lifestyle hub, calling the hotel the “crown jewel” of their upcoming project.

Ranju Alex, Regional Vice President – South Asia, Marriott International, emphasized the brand’s commitment to providing a wellness-focused guest experience. She noted that Westin’s global standard of service and focus on well-being will elevate Ludhiana’s hospitality offerings.

The Westin Ludhiana will include signature amenities such as the Heavenly Spa, WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, executive lounge, multiple dining options, an outdoor pool, and extensive event and banqueting space. Strategically located, it will offer convenient access to key transit points, including Ludhiana Railway Station, Chandigarh Airport, and the upcoming Halwara Airport.
