In a move aimed at fostering impactful growth and development across multiple sectors, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with APITCO Ltd (Andhra Pradesh Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation Ltd). The collaboration seeks to jointly deliver high-quality projects, conduct impact assessments, and provide expert advisory services that can bring tangible change across India’s economic and social fabric.
The MoU marks the beginning of a synergistic partnership that leverages FICCI’s policy and industry engagement expertise with APITCO’s on-ground experience in consultancy, implementation, and capacity building. Together, the two organizations plan to execute research-based, evidence-driven initiatives that support businesses, state institutions, and civil society stakeholders.
FICCI, one of India’s oldest and most influential industry bodies, has played a pivotal role in shaping policy dialogue and enabling private sector growth. On the other hand, APITCO has built a strong reputation over the years for its work in industrial promotion, entrepreneurship development, skill training, MSME support, and sustainable livelihood programs.
This collaboration is expected to significantly enhance the execution of government and industry-led programs by ensuring that development interventions are not only well-designed but also measurable in terms of impact. The partnership will also facilitate the development of sector-specific policy papers, frameworks, and evaluation mechanisms aimed at fostering innovation and inclusivity.
Speaking about the partnership, senior officials from both organizations emphasized the need for robust and actionable research, data-backed interventions, and targeted capacity building to meet India’s evolving development priorities. With sectors such as skilling, education, MSMEs, sustainability, and health being major focus areas, this alliance has the potential to influence policy and execution at scale.
The MoU represents a shared commitment to catalyzing purposeful change and building resilient institutions for India Inc., in alignment with national development goals and global sustainability targets.
