The 2025 Member Forum of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), which took place virtually from October 27 to 29, was successfully concluded. The event brought together representatives from over 300 World Trade Center locations across nearly 100 countries and territories to discuss global trade dynamics and network strategy.
Operating under the theme “Empowering Emerging Voices,” the three-day virtual forum prioritized cross-generational dialogue and the role of the private sector in fostering inclusive global commerce. The virtual format was utilized to maximize accessibility and participation across the WTCA’s international network.
Panels and interactive workshops were included in the forum’s agenda to give participants useful skills for negotiating a quickly changing global trade landscape. Important sessions included talks on “The Future of Trade: Economic Trends Shaping the Next Decade” and the “Mentor-Mentee Match Up,” which paired seasoned leaders with up-and-coming personalities. The information was centered on fostering relationships, sharing ideas, and providing up-to-date information on market trends, laws, and updates pertaining to international trade.
The meeting was held at a critical moment, according to WTCA Chair John E. Drew, who also emphasized the association’s function as a resource for companies adjusting to shifting trade conditions. Executive Director of Member Services, Crystal Edn, highlighted the success of the virtual gathering in bringing the global community together to “share ideas and take action,” giving participants practical tools and new connections to pursue global opportunities.
The official countdown to the 56th Annual WTCA Global Business Forum, which WTC Greater Philadelphia in the United States is hosting in April 2026, began with the conclusion of the 2025 Member Forum. The association’s goal of strengthening cooperation between WTCs, trade associations, and development organizations globally will be carried out at this upcoming meeting.
